Website health check.
Enter a web address and we load the page once, the way a search engine would, then tell you what is sorted and what is still open.

What it checks.
Reach and security
- Whether the page loads, and through how many redirects
- A valid HTTPS certificate
- Plain HTTP sent on to HTTPS
- The header that tells browsers to stay on HTTPS
Speed
- How long the server takes to answer
- Whether the page is compressed on the way
- Scripts that hold up the first paint
- Images with no size set, which make the page jump
Search
- Title and description, and whether they fit a search result
- One main heading, a language and a mobile viewport
- Nothing telling search engines to stay away
- A sitemap, alt text, structured data and a social card
What it cannot tell you.
- It reads one page, once, from our server. A visitor on a phone at the far end of a slow connection sees something different.
- It reads the page as it is sent. Anything a script adds afterwards is not seen.
- It does not judge the writing, the design, the keywords or who links to you. That takes a person.
- For lab speed figures on a simulated phone, run the same address through Google’s PageSpeed Insights.
